Mayo Cancer Support Services is looking for volunteers to help out on a flag day on Saturday April 9.

A talk on internet safety for children, which is aimed at parents, will take place in the Ballina Family Resource Centre on March 29 at 7.30pm.

Ballina Family Resource Centre will be running a six-week programme for parents who are parenting alone. This programme will be held on Wednesday mornings 10am to 12 noon.

External sensor lighting, internal security lighting, and personal alarms are now available for people over 65 years. The beneficiary must live alone or with another eligible person and must reside in the operational area of the Ballina Family Resource Centre.

Ballina FRC in conjunction with Mayo Sports Partnership and Pat O’Brien is running a free six-week fitness programme for men of all ages.

Anyone interested in volunteering on the Fáilte Isteach programme, a volunteer conversational English programme, which supports the English language classes of migrants in Ballina, is asked to contact the Ballina Family Resource Centre on 096 75573.

On Saturday December 18 from 1pm to 4pm, go along to the Ballina Family Resource Centre where you can sample a little bit of Christmas as experienced by different communities who are residing in Ireland.
